Wani sabon rahoto na NITI Aayog ya kiyasta buƙatun ajiyar batirin lithium gabaɗaya na Indiya zai kasance kusan 600 GWh na lokacin 2021-30.Rahoton ya yi la'akari da buƙatun shekara-shekara a kan grid, na'urorin lantarki na mabukaci, bayan-da-mita (BTM), da aikace-aikacen motocin lantarki don isa ga yawan buƙatu.

Adadin sake amfani da su daga tura waɗannan batura zai zama 125 GWh na 2021-30.Daga cikin wannan, kusan 58 GWh zai kasance daga sashin motocin lantarki kadai, tare da jimlar tan 349,000 daga sinadarai kamar lithium iron phosphate (LFP), lithium manganese oxide (LMO), lithium nickel manganese cobalt oxide (NMC), lithium nickel. Cobalt aluminum oxide (NCA), da lithium titanate oxide (LTO).

Matsakaicin ƙarar sake amfani da grid da aikace-aikacen BTM zai zama 33.7 GWh da 19.3 GWh, tare da tan 358,000 na batura waɗanda suka ƙunshi LFP, LMO, NMC da sinadarai na NCA.
